Meira specializes in the regulatory framework applicable in the energy sector in Israel and specifically in regulation applicable to electricity, natural gas and oil exploration & production, independent power producer projects and renewable energies.
Meira has extensive experience in representing clients throughout all stages of conventional, cogeneration and renewable energy projects (including initiation, procurement, licensing and drafting of EPC and O&M contracts), and in negotiating and drafting natural gas and other fuels purchase agreements, power purchase agreements (PPA), financing agreements etc.,
In addition, Meira has extensive experience in representing of corporations and entrepreneurs before regulatory agencies and advising clients in Procurement tenders and transactions and infrastructure projects (BOT/BOO/PFI).
